Websites for contractors

Your work is square.
Your website isn't.

I build fast, phone-first websites for trades businesses — the kind that publish your prices, load in about a second, and put your number where a thumb can reach it. One person, start to finish.

Phone first

Most of your customers search on a phone in a driveway. That's the screen I design for.

Under 2 seconds

Hand-built. No page builder, no forty plugins, nothing to slow it down.

Prices published

Ranges on the page filter out tyre-kickers before they reach your phone.

Built to rank

Local schema, service-area pages and a Google Business Profile that actually matches.

01 — The work

A fencing contractor's site, built the way I'd build yours

Ironwood is a spec build — a fictional company I put together to show what a trades site should actually do. Everything on it is real and working.

Ironwood Fence & Deck

Columbus, Ohio. Six service pages, a working quote pipeline, and a cost estimator that qualifies leads while the owner is asleep.

  • Live cost estimator — drag the sliders, get a real price range
  • Drag-to-compare before and after on a tear-out job
  • Local SEO schema most competitors' sites are missing entirely
  • Tap-to-call bar pinned to the bottom of every phone screen

02 — What you get

Everything, done for you

You send photos and answer questions on one phone call. I do the rest.

Design and build

Up to five pages, written and built from scratch. No template you'll recognise from a competitor.

Copywriting

I write it, you approve it. You don't have to sit down and describe your own business in writing.

Your photos, sorted

Send fifteen off your phone. I crop, colour-correct and caption them by town and job type.

Quote form

Every enquiry emails you and texts your cell within seconds, with everything they typed.

Google Business Profile

Claimed, filled in properly, and matched to the site so the map pack trusts you.

Hosting and SSL

Fast hosting, a padlock in the address bar, and backups you never have to think about.

03 — Pricing

Published, because I'd tell you to publish yours

No discovery call before you're allowed to hear a number.

The build
$500one time

Everything above, from first call to live site.

  • Up to five pages, written and designed
  • Live in seven days from your photos
  • Half up front, half when it goes live
The upkeep
$79per month

Optional, and you can stop whenever you like.

  • Hosting, SSL, backups, security patches
  • Up to four content changes a month
  • New job photos added as you send them

No contract and no lock-in. The domain stays in your name, and if you ever stop the monthly you keep the site — I'll hand you the files and help you move them.

04 — How it works

Three steps, one week

Step 01

A fifteen-minute call

What you do, where you work, and which jobs you want more of. I'll also tell you straight if your current site is fine and you don't need me.

Step 02

You send photos

Fifteen shots off your phone is plenty. That's genuinely all I need from you — I write the words and build everything else.

Step 03

Live in seven days

You look it over, I fix whatever you want changed, and it goes up on your own domain in your own name.

05 — Who you're dealing with

One person. That's the whole pitch.

I'm Rumail, and Stringline is me. There's no team page because there's no team, and no stock photo of an office because there isn't one.

What that buys you: you talk to the person who builds your site. Not a salesperson who hands you to an account manager who forwards your email to someone you never meet. When you want the phone number changed, you text me and it's changed.

A string line is the thing you run between two stakes before you dig, so everything after it lands straight. That's the job — get the line right first, then build.

06 — Questions

Fair questions

Who owns the site?

You do. The domain is registered in your name, the files are yours, and you can take them anywhere. Some agencies build on a platform you can only rent from them — if you ever leave, you leave with nothing. That's not how this works.

What is the monthly actually for?

Hosting, the SSL certificate, nightly backups, security patching, uptime monitoring, and up to four content changes. It is not rent on your own website. Stop it any time and the site is still yours.

Is this WordPress?

No. Hand-built, which is why it loads in about a second. Nothing to update, no plugins to break, and nothing sitting there waiting to get hacked because an add-on went two years without a patch.

I already have a website. Should I replace it?

Maybe not. Open it on your phone and time how long it takes. If it loads fast, your number is tappable and your prices are on there, you're in better shape than most and I'll tell you so on the call. You'd have lost fifteen minutes.

Will this actually get me more calls?

A website doesn't generate demand on its own — it converts people who are already looking for you. What I can promise is that the people who find you will be able to read it on a phone, see what you charge, and reach you in one tap. Most of your competitors currently fail at least one of those.

07 — Get in touch

Tell me about your business

I'll come back within one business day. If I don't think I can help, I'll say that instead of trying to sell you something.
